Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Team Lead to oversee our Press Department during the 2nd shift (4pm to 2am, Monday through Friday, with some mandatory OT required on Saturday's). This individual will lead a team of 10–12 members, ensuring high-quality production, efficient workflow, and strong team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of 10–12 press operators to achieve production goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor output to ensure products meet company quality standards.
  • Production Management: Coordinate daily operations to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Training & Development: Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Address production issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and team members, ensuring clear and effective communication in both English and Spanish.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or press department environment.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
  • Shift Availability: Must be willing to work 2nd shift.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with press operations and production processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, organize, and manage a team effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges quickly.
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 25+lbs. throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks requiring hand use, such as handling, touching, and feeling items.
  • Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
