Part-time Accounting Specialist - Elkhart, IN
Schedule is flexible, $18-23/hr.
Job Duties:
- Process financial transactions: Enter data into the accounting ERP, process vendor invoices, and manage payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain financial records: Verify, code, and post business transactions while keeping financial files, ledgers, and databases accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy: Perform all financial activities in accordance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company regulations.
- Assist with audits: Gather, organize, and provide documentation and reports to support internal and external audit requests.
- Archive: Maintain a well-organized archiving system for invoices and all supporting financial documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar preferred).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
