Bilingual Receptionist - Elkhart, IN
M-Th 8am - 5pm & F 8am - 4pm
Job Duties:
- Greeting and Assisting Visitors: Welcome visitors to the chamber office, provide information about chamber services, and direct them to the appropriate staff or resources.
- Answering Phone Calls: Manage incoming phone calls, screen and direct calls to the appropriate staff members, and take messages as needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to chamber staff, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Membership Assistance: Assist members with inquiries, renewals, and membership applications, maintaining accurate records of membership data.
- Event Support: Assist with event planning and coordination, including registration, attendee inquiries, and logistical support as needed.
- Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, prepare outgoing mail, and coordinate courier services as required.
- Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area and common areas are tidy and presentable, restock supplies, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Visitor Registration: Register guests and provide badges or visitor passes as necessary, ensuring security procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or customer service are a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a professional office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with visitors, members, and staff.
