Accounting Manager - Direct Hire
1st shift, $62000+/yr
Job Duties:
- The Accounting Manager will lead all day-to-day finance operations and supervise staff of one including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and grants.
- The Accounting Manager will ensure that the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation and conducts successful audits. In addition, she or he will partner with the President, leadership and Human Resources on the following functions:
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs and actual expenditures
- Coordinate all audit activity
- Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process
- Support the President with Board Meetings
- Oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting
- Manage organizational cash flow forecasting
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years experience in Accounting
