Experienced Line Cook – Commercial Kitchen (St. Louis Area)


Schedule: 

Day shift, Monday–Friday (no weekends). Typical hours start at 7:00 am and end mid-afternoon, with earlier finish times on lighter days, and occasional extended days that may run into early evening.


About the Role:
We’re looking for an Experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook to join a fast-paced commercial kitchen that produces fresh grab-and-go meals for retail and institutional customers. You’ll help prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and ensure consistency and quality in a team-oriented environment. Some work may occur in refrigerated or cooler areas, so the ability to work in colder conditions is required.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes

  • Chop, slice, measure, and mix ingredients for daily production

  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and safety standards

  • Assist with kitchen cleanup and organization

  • Support smooth production flow in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of prep cook or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen

  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of food prep techniques

  • Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under time pressure

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

  • Comfortable working in refrigerated or cooler environments
