The VP of Sales & Marketing is responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision
for revenue growth, market expansion, and brand development. This leader will oversee
all sales and marketing functions, build strong customer relationships, and lead a team
of sales professionals selling custom plastic processing equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for capital equipment in
the plastics industry.
? Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and untapped
markets.
? Lead and mentor a national sales team, setting goals and driving performance.
? Oversee all marketing initiatives, including digital strategy, trade shows, product
positioning, and branding.
? Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Executive leadership to align
sales efforts with product capabilities.
? Manage key account relationships and support high-value sales negotiations.
? Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive activity to inform go-to-market
strategy.
? Monitor and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
(Mechanical Engineering or MBA preferred).
? 10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in plastics processing,
industrial machinery, or capital equipment sales.
? Strong understanding of technical sales processes and complex solution selling.
? Proven ability to scale revenue and lead a high-performing sales and marketing
team.
? Experience with CRM tools and modern marketing automation platforms.
? Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
