Metal Stamping-Set Up

Job description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Stamping Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating stamping presses and working with metal components. Set-up experience is a strong plus, as this role may involve preparing machines for production runs, adjusting dies, and ensuring consistent quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate metal stamping presses to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform machine set-ups, including die installation and adjustments (if experienced).
• Inspect parts for quality and consistency using measuring tools and visual checks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in metal stamping or manufacturing preferred.
• Set-up experience with stamping presses is a strong plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
