Quality Inspector

Position Summary: Third Shift Sun-Thurs 9:30m-6:00am.  $20.00-22.00/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, comparators, and indicators.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is highly desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in the use of standard measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation systems.
