We’re looking for Structural Welder with strong skills in MIG, TIG, and flux-core processes, and a proven track record in fabrication. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to read and interpret technical drawings, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

Wage and  Shifts

Wage: $18.00 – $28.00 + per hour, DOE

Key Responsibilities


• Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on structural steel components and assemblies


• Weld in multiple positions, including 3G vertical up and 4G overhead groove welds on 3/8” mild steel plate


• Perform flat-position MIG welds on materials ranging from 14-gauge sheet to 5-gauge plate, ensuring proper heat control and penetration


• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings


• Work with prefabrication equipment such as brake presses, CNC machines, turrets, lasers, and water jets


• Fabricate, assemble, and modify parts as required


• Ensure all work meets QES quality and safety standards


• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S practices


Qualifications


• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment


• Completion of a welding program or trade school (preferred)


• At least 3–4 industry-relevant roles listed on resume


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and FCAW-G welding processes, with the ability to pass weld tests in:

3G vertical up groove weld (structural plate)


4G overhead groove weld using FCAW-G


MIG flat welds on thin to medium-gauge mild steel (14GA–5GA)
