SkillsetGroup is seeking a Plant Superintendent to work in the city of Riverside, CA area. The ideal candidate will handle daily operations and are responsible for employee engagement, production, warehouse/shipping, safety, maintenance, quality, and related activities.  This position involves leading a team of over 120 employees across various functions. The Superintendent will work closely with site leadership to foster a work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.  This will be a 1st Shift position and a Direct Hire opportunity.  To apply, email rmills@skillsetgroup.com



Details:

  • Job Title:  Plant Superintendent
  • DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
  • Pay Rate:  $87-130K/yr. + Annual bonus dependent on production and targets met
  • Hours:
    • 1st shift: TBD with flexibility to work other shifts.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Plant/General Management experience.
  • Will lead a team with over 120 employees.
  • Establishes structure and reporting relationships; manages hiring, training, and discipline; communicates expectations; oversees performance and compensation; enforces policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to operational goals with strategic recommendations; completes action plans; sets standards for production, quality, and customer service; promotes good manufacturing practices.
  • Attains financial goals by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Develops and executes production plans by coordinating with sales, traffic, and manufacturing; sets priorities, schedules processes, monitors progress, and resolves issues.
  • Ensures maintenance of production facilities by setting standards, conducting inspections, and addressing maintenance needs.
  • Promotes a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and complying with regulations.
  • Enhances job knowledge through educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Bilingual Spanish is STRONGLY suggested.
