SkillsetGroup is seeking a Warehouse Manager to work in the city of Gardena, CA area.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, managing a team of warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires implementing best practices to optimize workflows, ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP guidelines, and conducting regular training for staff on safety and equipment usage. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in inventory management systems and a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. This will be a 1st shift (WITH flexibility) position and a Direct Hire opportunity.

•    Title: Warehouse Manager (will look at Sr. Supervisor)

•    DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY 

•    Pay: $80-100k/yr., no bonus (BUT possibly could be negotiated)

•    Shift: 1st shift; Monday – Friday starting at 7am with the flexibility to work other shifts 

Details:

•    8+ years supervisory experience in Food Manufacturing and Management; IF Senior Supervisor must have 10+ years’ experience to get top pay and meet other requirements.

•    Implementing policies regarding GMPs, SOPs, SSOP’s, OSHA, HACCP requirements and Food Safety

•    Oversee all Supervisor and leads within the department

•    Implement performance metrics for warehouse department

•    Develop warehouse operations systems and supervise daily activities of the warehouse (inventory control, space management, shipping, etc.)

•    Responsible for employee scheduling, coach/drive performance improvements

•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

•    Ability to motivate, train and coach employees to encourage optimum performance and engagement.

•    STRONGLY prefer a Bilingual individual.
