Maintenance Manager

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work in the city of West Sacramento, CA area.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves managing maintenance staff, troubleshooting equipment issues, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Job Title: Maintenance Manager

• Direct Hire 
• Pay: $110-137k/yr. with 15% bonus potential
• Hours:
  • 1st shift: Monday-Friday, but need to be flexible

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager in manufacturing, food, beverage industry.  Would consider a Supervisor if they meet all other requirements.
• Need candidates from manufacturing in a medium to large size plant (300+ employees).
• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED (engineering preferred)
• HIGHLY preferable they have Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training – which they have actually implemented.
• Responsible for ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating maintenance and repairs, develop/implement PM, lead/motivate team
• Troubleshoot, modify, and enhance PLC programming and related equipment to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Bilingual is HIGHLY preferred.
