SkillsetGroup is seeking a Production Manager to work in the city of Ft. Worth, TX area. This role involves planning and organizing production schedules, managing a team of production workers, and ensuring that production targets are met within budget and on time. The Production Manager also implements and monitors quality control procedures to maintain high standards, collaborates with other departments such as maintenance and logistics, and continuously seeks to improve production processes. Strong leadership, effective communication, and a deep understanding of metalworking and manufacturing principles are essential for success in this role.This will be a 1st Shift position and a Direct Hire opportunity. Job Title: Production Manager
- Direct Hire Opportunity
- Pay: $90-115k/yr. + bonus (TBD) – negotiable for Rockstar
- Hours:
- 1st shift: 5am-3pm or 7am-5pm, MUST be flexible to cover other shifts
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Production Manager or Supervisor in the metal shop/fabrication industry (welding background).
- Overseeing the production process and ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Planning and organizing production schedules.
- Managing a team of production workers and supervisors.
- Ensuring quality standards are met and implementing quality control procedures.
- Coordinating with other departments such as maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Monitoring production performance and implementing process improvements.
- Experience with Oracle and MS Office
- Bilingual is a plus.
