SkillsetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the city of Madison, WI area. The ideal individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment used in food production. Your duties will include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime. Job Order Details:

• Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
• DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
• Hours: Monday – Friday 
  • 2^nd shift:         2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Pay: $75-90k/yr. depending on experience 

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Food manufacturing industry/frozen foods.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment, HVAC, towers, air compressor, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Understand diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering drawings to ensure machinery and equipment operate effectively.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in machinery and mechanical equipment, utilizing root cause analysis tools.
• Identify sources of problems.
• Adjust parts using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Monitor compliance with preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
• Answer questions and requests for mechanical maintenance information.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Bilingual a BIG plus.
