SkillsetGroup is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Riverside, CA area. Strong electrical troubleshooting ability, experience installing and repairing motors, VFD’s and has experience in machine installations. Someone that can open an electrical panel and explain what the equipment is and how it works. This will be a 2nd shift position and a Direct Hire opportunity. - Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
- Direct Hire
- Pay: $30-42/hr. - will pay higher for PLC programming and editing experience
- Hours:
- 2nd shift: 3:30 pm – 1:30 am, needs to be flexible with hours and working Saturdays based on projects.
Experience needed:
- We’re looking for a technician that has strong electrical troubleshooting ability, experience installing and repairing motors, VFD’s and has experience in machine installations. Someone that can open an electrical panel and explain what the equipment is and what it does.
- 5+ years’ experience with high tech machines/production machinery
- Open to ANY industry.
- Experience with breaking down and rebuilding Gear boxes, chain drives and sprockets, conveyors.
- Hydraulic systems, pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, etc.
- Electrical
- Wiring and terminations
- Motors, motor starters, VFDs.
- Electrical control, troubleshooting.
- AC/DC low voltage troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
- AC high voltage.
- Electronics, PLC’s – Programming a BIG PLUS
- Welding fabrication?
- Arc and MIG at the minimum - Oxytorch, plasma cutters, grinding, etc.
- Ability to identify root cause issues with motors/sensors/relays and replace these components.
- High speed pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
- High pressure Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Complete understanding and ability to run machine shop equipment – surface grinder/lathe/drill press/milling machine as well as all small hand tools
