TIG Welder

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Welder to work in the city of Pomona, CA area.  The Welder will be responsible for welding metal components as specified by blueprints, diagrams, or verbal instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore, and be able to work with different metals and materials.This will be a 1^st shift position and a Direct hire opportunity.  To apply, email rmills@skillsetgroup.com

Job: 

• Title:  Welder

• Contract to Hire Opportunity
• Pay: $24-28/hr.
• Hours:
  • 1^st shift:  6:00 am – 2:30 pm with OT as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Welder
• Proficiency in TIG welding with some experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Experience with electric and air tools.
• Familiarity with working with Stainless Steel and Sheet Metal.
• Capability to work with 16-18 gauge material.
• Proficient in structural welding ranging from ½” to 6”.
• Experience with Fluxcore welding is a plus.
• Will be required to pass a Welding Test covering both TIG and MIG techniques.
