Lube Technician

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Lube Technician to work in the city of Anaheim, CA area.  The Lube Technician is to adhere to a daily preventive maintenance schedule. This includes inspecting all plant equipment, such as bearings and gearboxes, to ensure they are operating correctly. The role also involves maintaining proper lubrication intervals and quantities, as well as conducting monthly checks of fluid levels, oil sampling, and wear prevention measures. Additionally, the Lube Technician assists in repairing machinery and equipment as needed.  This will be a 3^rd shift position and a Direct hire opportunity.   To apply, email rmills@skillsetgroup.com

Job Title: Lube Technician

• Direct Hire Opportunity
• Pay: $23.18/hr.
• Hours:
  • 3rd shift:  9:00 pm – 5:30 am with OT  
  • Ability to work 6 days a week, day off will be during the week – 24/7 operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Jiffy Lube Technician work well at this position.
• 6+ months of related experience and/or training.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and execute LOTO procedures.
• Perform conveyor, machinery, and packaging equipment lubrication and inspections.
• Report on bearing, conveyance, and line conditions.
• Clean and maintain the oil room storage area.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as needed.
• Assist Production Maintenance Technicians when required.
• Maintain lubrication logs.
• Input data into Maintenance CMMS software.
• Foster a positive work environment and engage positively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Work scheduled shifts, weekends, and extended hours as necessary.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
