Quality Assurance Supervisor

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to work in the city of Gardena, CA area.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain product quality and safety. Collaborating with production and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Training and supervising quality assurance staff to ensure adherence to standards. Developing and maintaining quality documentation and records. Continuously improving quality control processes to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.  This will be a 2nd shift position and a Direct hire opportunity.  To apply, email rmills@skillsetgroup.com

Job:

• Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
• DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
• Pay: $75-90k/yr.
• Shift: needs to cover 1^st/2^nd shift: start around 10am – 7 or 8pm, flexibility with hours

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor in the cooking side.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
• Working with Meat Enchiladas, dips for Trader Joe’s, baking, etc.
• In charge of 7 employees (QA Technicians and Sanitation)
• Food Production or Food Industry experience a must.
• Knowledge of audits and ability to get ready for audits.
• GMP, HACCP plans/procedures
• PCQI Certification in food safety.
• Bilingual is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
