SkillsetGroup is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work in the city of Santa Fe Springs, CA area. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling intricate mechanical parts, utilizing precision tools and equipment. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following assembly procedures, and ensuring the quality and functionality of the final product. The role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Job:
- Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
- Mark-up: TTH 55%
- Pay: $20-30/hr.
- Hours: 1st shift
- 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, M-F
- Currently working 10-12 hour days and some Saturdays
Details:
- 2 years’ experience with large component assembly and rigging.
- Understand/read blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Knowledge of hand tools (torque wrench, socket wrench) and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Fit, align, and adjust components within close tolerances.
- Must have own tools and ability to travel as needed.
- Bilingual a BIG plus
