Steel Shop Foreman

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Steel Shop Foreman to work in the Santa Fe Springs, CA area.  Expertise in industrial equipment to lead a team of skilled workers, ensure efficient production of high-quality steel products, and maintain a safe and organized shop environment.  This will be a 1^st shift position is a Direct Hire opportunity.  To apply, email Rmills@skillsetgroup.com

Details:

• Job Title: Steel Shop Foreman 
• Pay: $80-90k/yr.
• Hours: 1^st shift 
  • 6:00 am – 2:30 pm; Monday-Friday with OT, some Saturdays - currently working 50 hour weeks.

Qualifications

•             5+ years as a Foreman Supervisor

  •           10-20 years in welding and fabrication

  •           Expert knowledge of Welding (MIG/TIG/ARC)

  •           Responsible for scheduling, budgeting, planning of the work

  •           Knowledge of design principles, AMSE/AWS D1.1/D1.6 codes, and safety standards

  •           Bilingual a HUGH plus.
