SkillSetGroup is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to work in the Torrance, CA area. This position will be managing the accounting operations and will be reporting to the Director of Finance. The chosen candidate will have strong accounting experience, preferably in the Manufacturing space. This will be a 1st shift and will be a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Hours: 1st shift hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Details
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a big plus.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced excel skills is a big plus.
- Solid knowledge of double entry accounting is mandatory.
- The expectation is for the person to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Assist with monthly closing activities and general Ledger accounts reconciliation.
- Participate in preparation of financial reports.
- Assist with daily banking and treasury functions.
