Pay Rate: $75K - 80K per annum
Work Schedule: M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Proactively troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct security monitoring and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and cloud networking.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with IT leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Document network configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Provide training and technical support to internal teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in complex, non-uniform network environments.
- Experience in non-profit, educational, or museum settings is a plus.
- Proven experience managing technology projects from planning through execution.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VPNs, wireless networking, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, COPPA, FERPA).
- General knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud networking, and hybrid environments.
Skills
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Fortinet, Ubiquiti).
- Ability to analyze network traffic and logs.
- Skilled in drafting network diagrams and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Capable of managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
Abilities
- Assess network performance and recommend improvements.
- Learn and integrate new technologies quickly.
- Support long-term infrastructure planning and design.
- Assist both end users and IT team members with connectivity and security issues.
- Work in varied physical environments, including hardware installations.
Licenses & Certifications
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent required.
- ITIL v3 required; ITIL v4 preferred.
- CISSP and Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate preferred.
- Ability to certify in lift equipment operation (scissor and boom lifts).
