Key Responsibilities:


  • Preventative Maintenance:
    • Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns. 
      Following established maintenance schedules and procedures. 
      Lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment as needed. 

  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
    • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with production equipment. 
      Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems. 
      Repairing or replacing faulty components. 

  • Installation and Maintenance:
    • Installing new equipment and machinery. 
      Ensuring proper alignment and functionality of equipment. 
      Maintaining a clean and organized work area. 

  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used. 
      Preparing and submitting maintenance reports. 

  • Safety Compliance:
    • Ensuring all safety regulations and procedures are followed during maintenance activities. 
      Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards. 

  • Other Duties:
    • Assisting with the development of maintenance plans. 
      Communicating with production teams and other stakeholders. 
      Participating in training and development activities. 

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
    • Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Communication Skills:
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
    • Ability to document maintenance activities accurately and concisely.

  • Safety Knowledge:
    • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
    • Ability to work safely and identify potential hazards.

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
    • Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
