Press Brake Operator

Press brake operator-JOB RESPONSIBILITES include but not limited to the following duties. Other duties may be assigned. - Read & follow work center job instructions - Keep press brake tooling organized - Install & remove proper tooling into press brake - Input bend parameters and sequence of bending into press brake control - Form parts with press brake to drawing specifications - Follow and perform inspection plans to insure quality requirements are met - Use and develop setup reduction practices to maximize productivity & efficiency - Transport and arrange materials efficiently to & from the work center area - Identify and eliminate non-value added operations - Assist as a shared resource on other work centers or operations, if qualified - Assist in training personnel - Perform operator maintenance scheduled on equipment - Assist in developing and follow the prioritized production schedule - Perform good housekeeping - Assist in writing department procedures, process instructions, and programs - Follow safety procedures - Attend department meetings daily - Encourage, implement, and support continuous improvement within the department - Attend and participate in continuous improvement meetings - Get along with other employees
