OPERATOR WANTED: STEP INTO A DYNAMIC ROLE!
Are you ready to be more than just an operator? Join a close-knit, family-owned team that's been setting the standard in mobile wine bottling since 1995. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a hands-on, collaborative environment where every day brings something new.
This is not your typical operator position! Here, you'll be involved in everything from maintenance and troubleshooting to direct client interaction and daily operations. Plus, we offer a competitive benefits package including paid medical, dental, and optical coverage, a 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor contributions, and paid vacation time.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Sanitize: Perform twice-daily sanitation procedures to ensure the highest standards.
- Operate: Set up, change over, and maintain the smooth operation of bottling equipment.
- Ensure Quality: Confirm that every bottle meets our stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate: Interface with clients to plan, stage, and maintain daily production.
- Travel: Pack up and transport the bottling line on move days.
- Troubleshoot: Handle equipment issues as they arise with quick and effective solutions.
- Maintain: Perform regular maintenance and identify larger maintenance projects to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience with bottling, packaging, processing lines, or as a maintenance mechanic.
- Familiarity with cellar operations is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work extended shifts and occasional Saturdays.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 pounds.
- Valid CA driver’s license; Class B is a plus.
BEYOND THE BASICS: In this role, you’ll be more than just an operator. You'll take charge of field operations, maintain equipment, and collaborate closely with both your team and our clients. From troubleshooting nitrogen generators to handling non-standard packaging, you’ll become an expert in every aspect of the bottling process.
