Supports and manages various Human Resources programs including training, recruiting, benefits, and employee relations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for managing and supporting various HR programs such as Training, Benefits, Recruitment, and employee relations.
• Design, implement, and oversee training programs for employees at all levels.
• Evaluate training needs and create relevant development plans.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust programs as needed.
• Coordinate with Managers and Department leadership to determine training needs
• Provide direct training to all levels of the organization
• Evaluate external learning resources, such as videos, training programs, and testing instruments
• Select or develop training curriculum and resource materials, including course outlines, manuals, and audio and video materials
• Coordinate, schedule publicize, design, and evaluate training activities
• Develop career development systems, competency tests, and records and advise supervisors on conducting career development discussions with staff
• Performs presentations, training sessions, and or hosts meetings
• Track employee training and maintains a training data base
• Publish and maintain a yearly calendar and catalogue of training events
• Performs LOA and FMCL processing
• Supports full recruitment and hiring processes
• Supports benefits and employee relations programs as needed
• Maintain confidentiality at all times as appropriate
• Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing HR, recruiting and training functions, preferably in the gaming and hospitality industries, and developing new training systems and understanding the strategic relationship of training in the support of achieving the stated mission of the business.
• Experience in designing and implementing a 4-5 Star training program preferred
• Experience working with cross-cultural audiences and employees
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred
• Skills in presenting and facilitating group training programs
• Must be able to supervise, coordinate training workshops and seminars, consult with all levels of the organization, and act as a professional role model by modeling the positive behaviors taught in the classroom.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously, and set and meet deadlines.
• Must obtain and maintain a Gaming license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
