Compensation Range: $65K-$95k (depending on experience) 

Shift: 1st Shift 



POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead operations at our Aurora, CO facility for a leading pharmacy and medication management provider specializing in senior communities, PACE centers, and nursing care. Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager to set and achieve departmental goals, ensuring efficiency and compliance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership to optimize team performance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee core pharmacy processes, analyzing KPIs for improvement opportunities.
  • Drive Lean initiatives and projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement plans to streamline operations and maintain standards.
  • Assist in personnel management, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and training.
  • Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics and staffing to optimize production and contain labor costs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and accuracy among team members.
  • Conduct Gemba and MBWA to address concerns, communicate information, and enforce policies.
  • Cultivate team morale and loyalty through participation in activities and events.


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in long-term care and pharmacy preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management, performance improvement, and planning.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma processes.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy automation, computers, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel to other sites as needed.
