Description

Our client, a CPA and Advisory firm is looking for a Tax Manager, Credits and Incentives to be part of growing tax team. This position reviews complex qualified expense data, tax returns, and provides advanced technical assistance, tax planning, and research on various tax credit and incentive tax issues.


We serve clients as part of a team, each representing a unique area of expertise. The Tax Manager, Credits and Incentives provides client service, relationship management, and consulting services and serves as a tax expert. This position is client facing, so the ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, enjoys interacting and building client relationships, and provides timely and high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • Perform detail tax review of all Credits and Incentives tax forms and governmental tax examinations of any complexity
  • Work directly with clients on project analysis discussions, follow-up items from meetings, and/or initiate follow through on new initiatives with clients
  • Delegate and manage tax research projects to achieve an accurate and efficient product
  • Develop and mentor staff and seniors through training and effective performance feedback - ensuring responsibilities are consistent with skills and development goals
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collection and project budget

What You Bring to the Team

5+ years recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on tax credits and incentives

Excellent research and writing skills

Successful completion of the CPA exam, CPA, EA, or JD

Ability to build and retain client relationships
