We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of auditing processes. This role involves conducting thorough internal audits, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Senior Auditor will play a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial audits to assess the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

  • Perform internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans to management.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on changes in governmental accounting standards and regulations affecting the organization.

  • Provide guidance and training to junior auditors on best practices in auditing and financial reporting.

  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

  • Proven experience in financial auditing, with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools used for auditing purposes.

  • Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.

  • Excellent written communication skills for preparing financial report writing and audit documentation.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,253.00 - $66,603.00 per year
