Tax

Tax accountants who have 4+ years experience in preparing financial statements, payroll tax, income tax returns (including Individual, Corporate and Partnership), auditing, State and Federal tax will be considered. The ideal tax accountant is someone who has a strong work ethic, is able to work well under pressure and can integrate themselves into a dynamic work environment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required, as well as a level of proficiency in MS Excel.

• Manage clients accounting needs and ensure compliance deadlines are met.

• Review and prepare individual, corporate and partnership multi-state federal, and non-profit tax returns of varying complexities.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use Tax Returns.

• Process payroll monthly payroll deposits, quarterly and annual payroll tax returns for business clients.

• Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement compilations.

• Perform tax research on complex tax issues and provide technical recommendations.

• Act as a strong resource and point person for accounting questions

• Ability to make appropriate decisions regarding accounting and tax matters

• Provide excellent client service and quick turnaround

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting

• Masters in taxation preferred

• Licensed CPA

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a public accounting firm, having worked with corporate returns and financial statement compilations

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to make decisions about complex accounting and tax matters
