QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate
• 4+ years defense litigation paralegal experience
• Personal Injury and Maritime practice area experience
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation cases from onset through post trial.
• Experience with obtaining and summarizing medical and employment records, preparing subpoenas, processing discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Document preparation and production, calendar management, docketing, preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Preparation assistance with discovery responses and motions
• Review and organization of client and opposing party documents and evidence
• Scheduling depositions, IME’s, medical outlines and subpoenas
• Communication with clients
• Management of documents and maintenance of organized case files
