Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze all samples delivered to the laboratory
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all analysis and testing procedures
- Perform screen analysis and other required lab tests
- Prepare and complete Certificates of Analysis
- Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies
- Update and maintain the following documentation as assigned by the Plant Manager:
- Specification Manual
- Manufacturing Manual
- Laboratory Procedures Manual
- Other assigned reference materials
- Process production analysis in a timely manner and communicate any required whizzer adjustments to the Mill Operator
- Log and track incoming molten sulfur shipments and raw materials
- Complete all daily and monthly reports accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly laboratory and work area
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Analytical or laboratory skills
- Strong numerical skills
- Typing and basic computer proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to process and manage product order paperwork
- High school diploma required
- College education not required
