Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of basic office equipment and computer skills (PC, Telephone, 10-key, Excel, Power Point and Word) Knowledge of the various managed care plans and private insurances. Knowledge of referral and authorizations process. Strong communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with others. Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment. Ability to understand and follow direction. Some knowledge of medical procedures Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people. Ability to work well with different levels of staff. Willing to work extended hours and on occasions on Saturday. Bilingual- English and Spanish. Must have typing skills/10 key, database, and MS Outlook experience. Have Medical Terminology, patient scheduling, Insurance verification, and Prior Auths Knowledge.
