Stand-up Forklift 2nd shift

Stand-up Forklift Driver: General warehousing duties include the safe operation of all material handling equipment.  Job located Sunland Park New Mexico.

Will be working 2^nd shift 2 pm-10:30 pm in a cold work environment driving stand-up forklift.  Salary $ 14.85 M-Friday but must be available to work Saturday if production is running.  Please call Jonathan or Violeta 915-587-5777   if you need further information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Includes the following, all to be completed safely while adhering to company practices and policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Safely operates equipment which may include but not be limited to reach truck, single and double rider pallet jacks, and Stand-up forklift.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment and complete required documentation
• Lift, stack, unstack, move, pick and place pallets or other units of materials as directed while ensuring quality of product and equipment is maintained
• Load and unload trucks, trailers or other conveyances as directed
• Prepare pallets or other units by stacking, unstacking, adding spreaders, removing spreaders, wrapping, removing wrap, and boxing or unboxing as directed
• Coordinate with Warehouse Lead to plan the daily activities and prepare for future events
• Complete inventory procedures, including required documents and forms accurately and completely in a timely manner
• Scan products as directed to update WMS; print labels as needed
• Aid and assist in teaching new hires the acceptable practices and procedures of the position
• Maintain work area and general housekeeping duties to maintain GMPs and a safe environment
• Performs other duties as required

 Experience At least 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.                                              

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, taste or smell. Position requires use of a knife. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 60 pounds. 

Attendance bonus is $125 for 4 weeks.
