Duties and responsibilities

• Physically searches for material in schedule locations.
• Must use proper PPE: safety steel toed shoes, safety vest and hard hat while performing cycle counts.
• Places safety cones to identify restricted areas where cycle counts are being performed.
Essential Functions
• Receives cycle count lists and work sheets form inventory analyst.
• Counts material, notes quantities counted on Item Count Worksheet Aggregate. Dates and initials Worksheet for proper identification.
• Scans serial number for each container found. If serial number is not readable, notates quantity and serial number on cycle count worksheet based on information available.
• Upon completion of cycle counts, documents are returned to inventory analyst. Clears safety cones from restricted areas.
• Completes a 2nd and/or 3rd variance count if initial counts are out of tolerance.
• Reports material found with improper ID’s, opened or torn containers, missing lids, crushed, spilled contents, damaged, etc… to coordinators and or inventory analyst.
• Maintains control of file room and archives files.
• Follows up on procedures.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Forklift Operator (Sit-down preferred)
• Must be able to follow procedures
• Capable of identifying part numbers and locations of material by memory.
• Basic Microsoft Office Skills – (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be dependable, good time management.
• Must be knowledgeable in cycle counts and inventory control.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and have great verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
