• Assign drivers to dock doors where they will be off-loaded • Reads and compares freight bills/ cargo manifests with physical freight being received • Notes all damaged, shorted material and /or overages of material being received off freight documents. • Palletizes freight. • Scans Packing slips. • Communicates with spotter using radio for all trailer movements • Maintains good housekeeping. • Segregates freight according to facility. • Labels pallets according to facility locations. • Loads trailers with freight accordingly. • Ensures that no non-conformant freight is shipped at any time. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
