Customs Clerk

Assist companies with trade activities to import/export shipments. Responsibilities include training companies on how to manage regulations and apply them to their specific business applications, conducting audits, writing reports with findings, and keeping all documents organized. Will also interact regularly with customs and government personnel. Responsibilities: -Create customs entries -Ensure correct value, HTSUS and COOs are reported -AES export documentation -In Bond shipments -ISF filing Requirements: -Knowledge of US Customs laws and regulations -2 years' experience with Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding system -Comp skills: MS Office Suite, RB Systems, or other software supporting ACE Transmissions. -Work under pressure to mee customers' requirements and meet deadlines. -Proactive, autonomous, productive, resourceful, and a team player.
