Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Brief Job Description: The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for providing information to

employees regarding policies, safety, and security regulations; addressing a variety of issues and

providing general support overseeing the maintenance of records, files and databases of personnel

actions, evaluations while assisting the HR Head in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all

applicable requirements.

Works under the direct supervision of the Management Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Provides information and assistance concerning employment, recruitment, transfers, personnel

records, leaves, licenses, and related legal requirements.

 Conducts employee orientations (ex. Introducing personnel, payroll, employment benefits, policies,

assisting with enrollment forms, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring employees are knowledgeable of

current practices and administrative processes as well as completion forms.

 Develops a wide variety of written materials (ex. Letters, company memos, pamphlets, policies, etc.)

for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and conveying information to

personnel. Maintain organizational charts for Laredo business units.

 Ensures policies and procedures are followed for the purpose of being timely, safe, accurate, legal,

while meeting the company’s objectives.

 Coordinate and ensure completion of employee exit interviews, report the outcome of the interview to

management, track and maintain data.

 Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

 Monitor timecards on a regular basis and ensure that employees are adhering to their respective

schedules and clock in procedures. Coordinate and ensure timely evaluation of employees in Laredo.

 Assist with background checks and ensure that employees with forklift or other certifications are

current. Coordinate trainings for powered industrial trucks and other machinery to ensure safety and

compliance is met.

 Carry out the drug screening program with the company assigned provider scheduling preemployment,

follow up and random drug testing.

 Conduct inspections of company property entrusted to workers to ensure compliance with policies

and procedures.

 Document incidents and submit appropriate reports to management. Conduct warehouse

walkthroughs to ensure employees are complying with OSHA and other safety policies and

regulations.

 Monitor purchases and distribute supplies to all sites in Laredo. Run errands such as but not limited

to check signings, bank runs, envelope deliveries.

 Assist in the coordination of companywide events.? Other duties as assigned.
