Summary: An Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment that combines electrical and mechanical components. They troubleshoot issues with wiring, motors, and other parts of the machinery to ensure it is functioning properly. This job requires strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems. Candidate is required to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals, and use a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.  English Required. 


Job located in Santa Teresa 12-hour shifts7pm/7am-7am/7 pm 4 days on/3 days off 36/48 hours that rotate every 3 months.   Salary 22-26 per hour based on experience temp to hire position

Job Description:


  • To ensure Breakdown / Maintenance process  conducted in a planned and programmed manner.
  • To manage subordinates in line with company interests and contribute to their development process.
  • To ensure proper use and maintenance of buildings, machinery and equipment; to make their maintenance plans and control the compliance to these plans.
  • To analyze frequency of failures and malfunctioning and prepare reports;  to make root cause analysis of failures and malfunctioning and find lasting solutions.
  • To keep back ups of critical equipment and devices .
  • To prepare technical specifications of the new installations; control their compatibility with legal regulations and company instructions.
  • To insure mechanical implementation of new investments. 
  • To make new designs, applications and mechanical revisions in coordination with Production Department in order to increase machine performance and continuity. 
  • To ensure all the maintenance activities are carried out  according to the current rules and all of the employees are working in accordance with the safety rules.


 Qualifications:*


  • To be graduated from the electrical or electronics engineering departments of university must have at least one document such as a diploma, certificate or license which proves that necessary training or education has been taken by candidate.
  • To be fluent in computer applications. SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • To have knowledge about management systems (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • To have knowledge about automation, PLC and control systems.
  • To have knowledge about machining and welding technologies.
  • To have knowledge about electric motors.
  • To have knowledge about hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • To have knowledge about machining and welding technologies
