Job Title: Financial Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Accountant to work directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide critical support for financial insights, analysis, and for strategic decision-making. This role will focus on daily accounting operations, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to help drive the company’s growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage Financial Operations: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash forecasting.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare financial data for third party preparation of tax returns.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
