RBA Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for our client who are world-class experts in their field. Our client is expanding and looking to add Engineering Technicians to their Engineering Team. 

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the build, test, and debug processes of production systems, and deliver critical testing support during the product development stage.


Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Performing daily production build, test and debug activities

  • Work closely with the Engineering Team during development of build and test methods for new products

  • Manufacture, test and install custom wire harnesses / cable assemblies according to production specifications

  • Interpret electrical schematics and production blueprints

  • Provide equipment functionality and capability reports throughout the production and test stages

  • Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated

  • Perform critical quality control checks, and work to streamline analysis and reporting in an organized manner


  • Vocational or Associate’s degree in related technical field or 2 years equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing environment

  • Strong computer skills and ability to operate electrical equipment

  • Strong soldering skills and cable assembly experience

  • Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, optical or imaging systems

  • Ability to follow work instructions for manufacture and test with a high attention to detail, and ability to meticulously and precisely perform required tasks

  • Superior diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical capability and experience, familiar with statistical analysis tools and experience post-processing data from measurements a plus
