RBA Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced CMM Programmer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and initiation of standards and methods for programming of CMM

  • Testing & Evaluation with CMM's product.

  • Performs inspection of parts, assemblies, products and/or materials.

  • Utilizes defined sampling procedures and instructions for recording, evaluating reporting quality, defects and appearance

  • Initiates findings and/or confirms discrepant material

  • Support manufacturing personnel

  • Assists Quality Engineers in the development of plans for manufacturing

Knowledge/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in programming and staging of product

  • General knowledge of general testing and measurement equipment

  • Blue print reading skills

  • Knowledge of ISO-900 2008 or AS9100 or TS19649

  • Knowledge of calibration equipment

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 5 or more years related experience or training

  • CMM - running, programming

 

  • Understanding and utilization of micrometers, verniers and scales (rulers), height gauges, protractors and optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMM/PC-DMIS).

 

  • Must have working knowledge of GD&T.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Physical Demands of CMM Programmer position

  • Must be able to manually manipulate equipment that is hand held

  • Physically be able to maneuver product individually up to 30lbs per part or fixture

  • Be able to deliver product or reports throughout the facility
