RBA Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced .Net Engineer in the Optics Industry.

Software Development:

  • Develop software for instrumentation and process control, data processing and advanced computing

  • Create, test, verify, and document software designs

  • Aid in writing user requirements, design specifications, and other project documentation

  • Adhere to, and suggest improvement to, current software development procedures and practices

Customer Service:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer software issues

  • Establish rapport with customers and help them create requirements for new projects

  • Occasionally work “international” hours to provide world-wide customer support, remote and on-site

General Duties:

  • Work with Engineering and Production to coordinate test schedules for new software

  • Support the Sales, Engineering, Production, R&D, and Finance departments, as required


  • BS or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering

  • Experience in C/C++

  • Experience in common Microsoft .NET languages (VB.NET, C#)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant Object-Oriented development experience

  • Experience with embedded, vision, or robotic control a plus
