Payroll Administrator/Human Resources Assistant

RBA Staffing has a contract position with a local manufacturing facility for an assistant in their Payroll and Recruiting efforts.

The Specialist is responsible for the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for Centralized payroll.

This position supports and administers Human Resources and Payroll compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

  • Assist with hiring process, including submitting job postings online, reviewing resumes, phone screening and scheduling candidate interviews

  • Process payroll information and time sheets using Kronos System.

  • Provide human resource orientation with each new employee, including training and/or presentations in agency staff orientation.

 

  • Processes paperwork for employees; terminations to include exit interviews and any status change forms submitted by management.

 

  • Maintain current knowledge of agency payroll procedures.

 

  • Maintains employee confidentiality at all times

 

  • Ensure compliance with EEO laws and regulations and act as agency representative.

 

  • Prepare a variety of complex reports and data for various departments and agencies.

  • Assists with projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must work well with others as a team player, but also able to work alone with minimal supervision.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to meeting internal customer requirements and continuous improvement objectives.
