RBA Staffing is currently recruiting for a Registered Dietitian for a local Health Care System. The Registered Dietitian role will be to provide for the nutritional care for all patients within the scope of responsibility and act as consultant to other health care professionals in determining the best nutritional care options for patients.This is a temp to hire opportunity working part time hours of 30 hours per week.


Registered Dietitian Responsibilities:

  • Completes nutritional assessments for all patients.

  • Provides recommendations for formulations, rate and volume for all tube fed and TPN patients, per Nutrition Support policy.

  • Demonstrates competency in providing nutrition care to the patient population within our scope of responsibility.

  • Instructs patients/families on therapeutic/special diets and general good nutrition habits.

  • Monitors patient progress and follows up per polices and standards of practice.

  • Actively participates in team discussions, shares knowledge and experience; accepts new ideas.

  • Oversees the implementation of diets, formulary supplements, calorie counts and snacks that are consistent with the patient’s medical condition and treatment goals.

  • Participates in office\department procedures and committees as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Registered Dietitian requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.



Required Licensure/Certification

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) required
