Process Operator - Direct Hire Opportunity


Order: 23126


  • Prepare ingredients per the batch card (verifying item codes, lot numbers, weights, and descriptions);

  • Oversee the preparation of batches (spice, sauté, cheese blends, and sauces);

  • Remove any products not required for current batches and verify all ingredients are correct;

  • Exercise judgment in the quality of the finished product;

  • Maintain ingredient lot numbers and cooking cycle counts;

  • Preform CIPs are required;

  • Monitor sauté and cook kettle processing to ensure cook time and product transfers;

  • Ability to work in all kitchen positions;

  • Ensure kitchen and all utensils are clean and ready for use;

  • Understand written production orders;

  • Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority initiate action.


  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • Previous manufacturing experience;

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots;

  • Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning;

  • Ability to use basic hand tools (knife, pumps, and scales);

  • Previous experience as a machine operator;

  • Lock Out/Tag Out Trained.



  • Constant exposure to extreme loud noises;

  • Constant standing and moving by foot;

  • Constant exposure to extreme hot/cold (non-weather) environment;

  • Constant work in high places and near moving mechanical parts, including conveyors;

  • Frequent lifting/carrying <50 pounds, reaching and use of fingers;

  • Frequent reaching/pulling/bending/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling;

  • Occasionally lifting >50 pounds;

  • Potential exposure to caustic chemicals.
