RBA Staffing has a Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced Hardware/Software Technician!


In this position you will diagnose common computer software and hardware problems. Repair, install/de-install, or upgrades computer hardware and software as required. Interfaces directly with customers, sales and various levels of management. Able to lift up to 70 pounds and possess a valid driver’s license.




Job Responsibilities:


  • Performs hardware and desktop troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common computer

software and hardware problems.

  • Repairs, installs and upgrades computer hardware and software components as required.

  • Ensures compliance with company technical and quality standards/procedures as well as the

highest degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Escalates problems within parameters.

  • Develops and maintains client relationships and identifies opportunities to extend existing


  • Maintains effective communication with internal call dispatchers and with customers.

  • Completes required documentation for all work orders and provide updates in real time.


Technology & Skill Requirements:



  • A+ Certification required, Windows 10 preferred

  • In depth knowledge of HP and Lexmark laser printers

  • Basic understanding of Server hardware and software

  • Knowledge and ability to support iPads and Chromebooks

  • Expert on desktop/laptop hardware and operating systems

  • Working knowledge of networking essentials

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications

  • Knowledge of utility tools, including virus applications and signatures

  • Basic knowledge of workstation backups and restores

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers & internal staff

  • Ability to travel daily to customer locations.

  • Physical Demands:


  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
