We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented Thrift Store Associate to join our team. Thrift Store Associates assist customers and donors while maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming environment within the store.
Main Position Activities:
Create and maintain a welcoming, clean environment at the Thrift Store.
Maintain an excellent rapport with donors, customers and volunteers.
Sort and process donated materials and set up store displays for merchandise.
Provide customer service by greeting customers, responding to customer inquiries and managing complaints.
Maintain appropriate records and reports on store activities that include accurately reporting and depositing daily sales receipts
Maintain a sanitary and safe working environment
Qualifications:
Minimum: High School diploma or GED
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and other Windows based programs.
Mall Retail experience or Department Store experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
*This is a Temp-to-Hire position.*
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening as well as a background check.
