 Position Summary:

The  Bilingual Water Restoration Technician is responsible for responding to water damage emergencies and performing various restoration tasks, including water extraction, structural drying, and debris removal. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work in challenging environments while maintaining high standards of customer service. (You must be able to to communicate with Spanish - speaking workers or clients).

• Hourly: starting at $18.00 +
• Schedule: 8:00 AM (time varies per project)
• Type: Project based

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site water extraction, structural drying, and content cleaning
• Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
• Document all work, including measurements, photographs, and equipment records
• Perform emergency mitigation services following company and industry guidelines
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Communicate with customers about job status and next steps
• Conduct on-site inspections to determine the extent of water damage and recommend appropriate restoration solutions
• Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety measures are followed at all times
• Assist with inventory management and organization of tools and equipment
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency response

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in water damage restoration or a related field preferred
• Language requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, preferred.
• IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) or similar is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in physically demanding conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, when necessary

Physical Requirements

• Must be physically strong and resilient, capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), working for long periods, and performing strenuous tasks. 
• Good manual dexterity, balance, and coordination to handle tools and navigate challenging environments, often involving dusty or extreme conditions. 
• Flexibility, agility, and the ability to maintain endurance for repetitive tasks are also essential.
