Maintenance Technician

Pinnacle has partnered with an organization that focuses on manufacturing and marketing plastic packaging products. 

They are looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team. This would be a 3rd shift position. The Maintenance Technician would help perform tasks to maintain efficient production.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform duties with minimum supervision.
  2. Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
  3. Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
  4. Keep the shop area and molding machines neat and orderly.
  5. Willingness to get training to progress in the maintenance field.
  6. Obtain parts in times of emergency.
  7. Take control of the machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.  
  8. Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Work independently and as part of a team.
  2. Have mechanical aptitude.
  3. Accept responsibility for work performed.  
  4. Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
  5. Able to participate in an apprenticeship program.
  6. Able to read blueprints and schematics.
  7. Good reading comprehension and math skills.
  8. Must provide own tools.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS         

  1. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds overhead.
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to waist.
  3. Must be able to work around grease, oils and solvents without adverse reaction.
